When I visited the forum just now I see three icons on the home page indicating new posts. I do not want to drill down through the posts so I select "View new posts" and only get one post. But if I do go through the forum following the new post icon there are in fact three new post.

This is not a one off and happens quite often. Does it happen to anyone else?

- Sun Sep 01, 2019 2:58 am #83626 maybe the marks on the homepage just indicate new posts per se (threadstarter, reply).
You will most likely find all three when using "view unread posts".
The menu "view new posts" - for my experience - more likely shows newly opened treads only.

One unread posts icon on Newbie corner and using view new posts I get two threads with new post icons which is what I expect.

- Tue Sep 03, 2019 3:26 pm #83655 Tonight three new post icons on the main page. Using view new posts gives me one topic with 11 pages of posts.

Maybe due to me visiting the site earlier but not checking any of the new posts or clicking view new posts.

Anyway not really a problem; I will just miss some posts sometimes.
