#86518 I think that
D1 Mini single, dual and triple base are a must have...

I love those base. Are super awesome and super convenient for small projects, they are very convenient even for soldering components on it.

Why those kind of bases are not widely supported even for other microcontrollers than D1 mini?

Are there similar base for NodeMCU or ESP32?

#86522 I have no idea why I would need more than one processor in a project. If I needed more I/O's I would just go up to the next size board.
When I was using Arduino Uno's I sometimes used a proto board that would plug in like a shield but most of the time I use strip board. With stripboard I could easily add another processor if I wanted to.

those base are not used to use more than one processor but just to easily add things to the project and connect them in the cleanest way possible.

never used more than one processor one those base and, even if you want, you can't they are not made for this.

#86567 No one use those base on esp8266?
They are super convenient and helps a lot in reducing sizes of the project.

Have a look at how many components I put in such a small place like a dual base

Only one esp is attached on that base

Hope to see this approach used on other boards too.
