ESP8266 and 220V, best and smaller way! Need help

Hi,
I want to use ESP8266 to control windows, curtains, TV, replace some wall switchs... and, for that last reason, it needs to be small...

Here, in Portugal, we have 220V. So, I found these Step Down Voltage Regulator. It is the best way?

Thanks a lot,
Ribeiro Santos

add a small ams1117

and its far better (can drive more - like an extra oled)

I am using successfully these modules: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131380498361 (the 3.3V module of course :) )
A slightly more expensive solution (similar to the great Recom modules): http://www.ebay.com/itm/131424221544
