- Mon Nov 02, 2020 2:10 pm #89289 I’ve developed an esp8266 project which is working well. However, I am having some issues getting the esp8266 to
connect to Mist access points. They are set to use High data rates as indicated in this
article. https://www.mist.com/documentation/data-rates/ However, the esp8266 doesn’t connect
, and on the access point side, the following error occurs “Status code 18 "Association denied
due to requesting STA not supporting all of the data rates in the BSSBasicRateSet parameter"
From what I have seen the esp8266 first tries to connect to 802.11g which is not supported.
Would you be able to assist me with this problem? I am also happy to redo this project with
you to get it working smoothly? Below is a link
