i'd like control mcp4561 digital potentiometer with esp2561 but i have no code for the esp8266 .
i have an arduino code , could it be modified to be used with the esp8266 ?

Just go into the Arduino Boards Manager and add the appropriate ESP module then you will most likely be able to use the Arduino code directly
