Hi,
I've built a small weather station equipped with an ESP8266 and some sensors.
It's powered by a 18650 battery (3000 mAh, branded Samsung) that, for now, when discharged, I charge with a separated TP4056 board and a 5V 3A pwer supply.
It's some week that when I connect the battery to charge it, the TP4056 red led turns on correctly and after about 3 hours the blue led turns on but the red one stay turned on too.
The first time that I noticed that, I waited 30 mins more to see if the red led turned off but it didn't happen so I turned the TP4056 off, detached the battery and connected it to the weather station.
The weather station is equipped with a MAX17043 that measures the charge of the battery and, even when the battery was new, never measured 100% (it measured 94/96%), the last time I charged the battery when I reconnected to the weather station it measured 56% at first, after 30 mins. it measured 60%.
Does someone know the reason why both leds of the TP4056 turn on?
