HI all,

Is there a timeout or no. retry setting in autoconnect?

I am running the ESP8266 on AAA batteries, in cases where the AP is down or missing, it will keep retrying till the battery runs flat.

Do I have to code a scan WIFI function to do that?

did some quick coding to add a limited retry to prevent the ESP8266 running my batteries flat.
