Have a ESP8266, sump pit monitor that uses NTP; it works perfectly with our Xfinity, network router. ESP8266 connects to the AT&T router; does not receive UDP packets. Firewall has been configured on the NVG588; still, does not work. UDP port is defined as 1337.

A.T.&T router is a Arris NVG588.

Has anyone else experience this issue? Any work around to fix this issue?

William

Hello, Have you got any solution to this problem? Have you considered posting this question to the A.T & T network users community?

Issue was a misconfigured network; I used 192.168.1.1 for gateway and dns. Even with the 192.168.1.1 Gateway and dns project was connecting to the AT&T network; just not "talking" to the gateway and dns

AT&T network; in this case, used gateway and dns of 192.158.1.254.

Had I checked Windows PC with ipconfig; would have caught this much sooner, instead of going from "memory."
