Posted: Thu Sep 01, 2022 3:15 amWhere can I purchase a CPU socket that I can solder to my perf board? What is the name to ask Mouser or Digikey if I don't want to solder it directly into the perforated board?

If you mean D1 mini, most come with a bunch of low profile connectors.
If you mean a bare esp8266 chip, I don't know.
