Minicom doesn't prompt `cmd`

But, I am not getting `cmd` prompt in minicom. It just prints some binary data, vendor name and "Ready" on startup. Also, tried to set `Hardware Flow Control` to `No` but no luck.
Any idea what is wrong with my setup? Do I need to flash ESP8266?
