ESP8266 Community Forum

Has anyone managed to use the built-in RTC in the ESP? Can you please share your code? I have a solar-powered setup and want to mimise power usage by only fetching the time from NTP servers once a day and setting the time on the RTC. I will use the RTC to get the correct time for the rest of the day.

i think the rtc has been removed, but the documentation has not been updated, but i could be wrong.

i think there was another post about the rtc in here somewhere
