I've had a problem with ESP07 modules crystals. Some of our modules dropped AP connection frequently, while others worked fine. I removed the caps of two modules, one was working fine and the other was dropping AP connection. I then removed the crystals of both modules and added the "good" module crystal to the "bad" module. After that the "bad" module was working fine without dropping connection to AP. I guess the crystal's PPM is to blame. Crystal is marked: T260 JHTD.
Btw I am using the freeRTOS SDK (v 0.9.9) and debug uart prints "beacon timeout" when connection breaks.

There were a lot of issues with the crystal on the esp-07. Defective parts, wrong placement, and more. A shame.

Yes, I've got modules with sub standard crystals from two different batches. About 2/3 of them drop the connection every 2-3 minutes, it's that bad.
