Lua and Javascript

I'm starting now in the programming area and I have some doubts if anyone can help me
got the WIFI ESP 8266 module, its programming is based on LUA language and I know he interacts with HTML, and I'm wanting to get him to interact with javascript to when I access the IP module it runs a program for me to change some parameters , just like an IP Camera
