Hello Everyone !!!

I have just started using esp8266.
The board is connected as mentioned in the user guides and internet.

I am also able to locate the WIFI on my Laptop and Mobile.


When I try run AT commands from a hyperterminal client , I am getting different responses than normal.

Like

when I send AT
I receive Px .

When i send AT+RST
I recieve : PUI5EU<0

I have tried different Baud Rates and different Hyper terminal clients.
I get different responses on different clients.

Help to move ahead.

I suggest check out the wiring as per Wiki above top line on page

Most of the ESP modules I have bought through ebay and did not have any firmware on them whatsoever. It's been a while but I think they behaved similar to yours. I had to flash them first to get started. Easiest for me was to get the nodemcu flasher and follow one of the many guides on the net.
