ESP8266 Community Forum

I wonder if it's a good idea to have both I2C and SPI slaves connected to an ESP. Could both buses be run simultaneously? If so, are there issues with this kind of setup?

If you mean having the ESP8266 act as the master then I don't see any reason why this would be bad since all communication would initiate from the ESP8266
