stuck on flashing
Posted: Mon Jun 01, 2015 10:59 amIn trying to get started with the esp8266, I can't get nodemcu flash to work...tried esp-01 and -12...with same result.
Flashing makes no progress past the "begin find" . I get proper results from a few AT commands , but "error" from most commands. I am using 3.3 volts, grounded some pins and pulled-high others as instructed. Re flashing, many articles say you can just download nodemcu flasher, set the baud rate, and click "Flash" button....a few articles say one has to also download some binaries and specify them in the flasher configuration window ?
Could someone explain about flashing/binaries and/or point me to a good guide on flashing ? Thanks!
