I have googled this before I asked, but was unable to find the info..

Is there a way to set my device name when it joins a network..

Right now when I list all the devices on my network, my NodeMCU has an empty name but the device type does show as Espressif..

My router just lists the mac number but when it connects I can change that through to router page in my case at 192.168.0.1 as a browser address. Mine is a TP-Link
