Does the EspressIf SDK support WiFi Direct?

ESP8266 specs supports WiFi Direct. http://espressif.com/en/products/esp8266/

However, is it supported by the SDK yet? If yes, which API should I use? I am not able to find any example at the moment. Can someone provide some examples?

Dont know what wifi direct is but Arduino IDE has following programs as examples see pic
