So Espressif published a SDK with some examples, ok, but under which license?
Just because its published doesn't mean you can do whatever you want, even if I guess they just spread it as much as possible and want people to develop as much software as possible so others buy their hardware.
(http://bbs.espressif.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14 is basically telling: if you modify our AT-example code and publish it, make sure you change the version so others dont blame us for your errors)
So if we want to publish own projects that include parts of the SDK or the examples, how is the situation?
