- Tue Nov 04, 2014 10:40 am #2231 Is there a way to get the device to enter a raw packet mode so that it does not use its own TCP/IP stack. I would like to use the device with Contiki on my own board so would prefer to let the contiki stack on my device handle the packets, etc. I just want the module to handle connection over wifi.

I suppose this might be possible with a firmware hack but no idea about how much work that would be.

I was not really sure about the driver sent and it seems the link has gone now. But I was hoping there would just be some nice transparent type approach that would just act like a wireless version of the enc28j60 ethernet controller with added ability to log on to an encrypted wireless network.

Anyone got any other links to the source code area that might enable this type of approach?

I keep reading about the device crashes a lot and am not sure if this is the software or the hardware doing it.
