i´ve got some trouble with the esp8266 an a cp2102 convertert.

it is connected

Code: Select allesp8266 TX <-> RX CP2102
esp8266 RX <-> TX CP2102
esp8266 GND <-> GND CP2102
esp8266 VDD <-> 3.3VCC CP2102

When I connect

Code: Select allesp8266 CH_PD <-> 3.3VCC CP2102

then the CP2102 diconnects from the PC

OK

then i tried

Code: Select allesp8266 TX <-> RX CP2102
esp8266 RX <-> TX CP2102
esp8266 GND <-> GND Arduino
esp8266 VDD <-> 3.3VCC Arduino
esp8266 CH_PD <-> 3.3VCC Arduino

the blue LED flashes 3 times

CoolTerm_0 connects thru COM5 with 115200 8-N.-1

then I get only garbe out:

Could some one help me ?

It works fine , but , you have to power the ESP2866 from another 3.3 V source with enough capacity.

I had same problem in the beginning untill I noticed that the 2102 was disconnecting for being underpowered. ( windows sound every time activated ESP2866)

Cp2102 power isn't enough. You must connect external power

2102 works ok but does not have enough power
