Does anyone have a link to an arduino sketch that uses the 8266 as an AP and simple Web server?
I am using a mega with 8266 on serial 2.
Tried a few but none seem reliable...

Have a look at this post. Ended up with this as its the first stable one I've found. It might not do all you want, but a good place to start.

Thanks but that isnt running the 8266 as an AP.
