ESP8266 Community Forum

- Tue Dec 02, 2014 3:31 am #3788 I am using USART 3.3V, power module with 3.3V power supply, I connected TX - (ESP8266) RX, RX - (ESP8266) TX and CH_PD to VCC, the baud rate of 57600 or 115200.
When I send AT commands (eg. AT, AT + RST, AT + GMR) receives nothing.
The modul ESP-07 have more pins, maybe i must connect more GPIO but i don't know what i must connect.
When do I pull-up or pull-down I must use external resistor?

- Tue Dec 02, 2014 6:35 am #3801 Does the chip enter firmware upload mode with GPIO0 low? Have you tried flashing the firmware? Some modules come without any firmware installed.
