Communication Problems whit ESP8266 01

i had lug this esp8266 on my arduino in Serial to USB mode, but it isnt really working. When i send AT commands to the chip, the chip answers whit cryptical chars that i dont can read. Here an example from Termite.
Commant: AT
Answere: !¥Hø
