Esp 12e help needed!

I just got 2 esp 12e modules for christmas. I'm a total newbie when it comes to wireless connections. But now, after quite some research, I couldn't find any helpful site, that shows me how I have to connect the esp 12e with an usb or an arduino in order to use the wifi properly. I eventually found out that I had two different esp 12e's. One has an ai cloud on it, the other hasen't. At first I thought they were the same, so I put one of the two where I needed it. I'd look up the pins like GND, VCC etc. on the other one. Now I just can see one of the backsides. I just want to know if they are the same and if so, how to connect them properly so that I can enter my WLAN network.
