ESP8266 Community Forum

I felt ESP8266 behaving strange,its just that on boot up I receive some Garbage along with "[Vendor:www.ai-thinker.com Version:0.9.2.4] ready",
after triggering any command its just echoes the same command with out responding any thing
Ex:
Tx: AT
Rx: AT
Tx: AT+RST
Rx: AT+RST
Tx: AT+GMR
Rx: AT+GMR

is this is the usual behaviour?
Now its stopped responding and only Red light lits up on powering up, with the connection as suggested http://rayshobby.net/?p=9734 (Dark Blue Image with the description of connection just above & below the Image).

Please tell me what I am doing wrong here.

I doubt you are doing anything wrong here. Seems like the firmware is crap. I checked the site.... no documentation (and I do not speak/write/read) Chniese. I have 2 of these modules here from a friend who could not get a connection .Well that makes sense....
I'll start dumping 0.9.2 back on it. That should at least work normally

@edit: Just flashed 0.9.2 works like a charm at 115200 baud.
