using 2 CD74HC4067 for reading several analog sensors.

Hi,
I need to read several sensors (8 to 12).
I have been reading a lot (and I am very new to electronics) and I am not sure if this can be done....
My Idea is to connect 2 CD74HC4067 to a ESP8266 12.
The would share the GPIO 5 6 and 7, GND, 5v. With this they would activate the needed Analog pin of the CD74HC4067.
One CD74HC4067 would be for reading the A signal from one of the sensors and the second CD74HC4067 would be for the realy (to send the 3 or 5 v that the sensor needs). The second CD74HC4067 would have an extra pin connected to GPIO 8 that would activate it in this mode....
Does this make sense?
