I want to know one thing, Whether the ESP8266 is capable to set with static IP( while connecting, It is getting dynamic IP from router now) ? The software details of the module are" AT version : 0.40.0.0" and" SDK Version : 1.3.0".
if possible, suggest me a good way to be followed. Eagerly waiting for a response.

- Mon Mar 14, 2016 7:00 am #43084 If you are connecting your ESP to an AP, I would advice configuring the AP to always issue the same IP to the ESP, instead of configuring a static IP on the ESP.
