- Sat Mar 12, 2016 5:10 am #42937 I want to connect more than 10 stations (maybe like 25 stations) to one softAP. Is it possible to do it without having to use mesh?

Here in the changelog it mentions the following
4.ESP8266 soft-AP can connected to 8 stations at most, softap_config.max_connection default is 4

Where does this limit of 8 stations come from?
