hi, just recently i started my first ESP8266 project, i'm using AT serial communication (AT 0.40 command set) to connect to local network (ESP8266 as DHCP client), but when i try to join network router (TPLink WR841N), the router didn't assign any IP to my ESP8266, i've also tried on another router (Cisco one) and it works fine (the IP assigned), though there are some cases when the IP still cannot be assigned, is there some step that should be done to avoid these problems??

just sharing, looks like the problem arose when connecting to repeater (the router act as signal repeater/booster on my main router, using transparent connection), to solve this problem my ESP must connect first to main router, then it can connect through my repeater (don't know the cause of this problem, but perhaps because my main router refusing repeated connection from unlisted mac address)
