Trouble Flashing Esp-link

Im trying to flash it on windows, via nodemcu. The flash looks successful but it never shows me the access point. The status LED on GPIO2 never blinks or does anything.

Yes, but, when esp-link software is flashed to the esp8266, they have a status signal sent to GPIO02, which they leave to the user to hook up to an LED with an appropriate resistor, I have that setup and the LED works, however with the esp-link software I get no access point that it is supposed to host.
