Unable to see board manager in Arduino IDE 1.7.8

Hi,

I am beginner with NodeMCU esp8266 and Arduino IDE. I am unable to find the settings like "preference " and "Board manager" in Arduino IDE version 1.7.8.

Kindly Help !

you're using the wrong arduino ide, you need to use 1.6.8 from arduino.cc (the slightly less evil empire) not 1.7.8 from arduino.org (the totally evil empire)
