In these boards and on eBay / Aliexpress, I think we've all seen the ESP-01 .. ESP-12 series modules.

Today, however, when going through the stores, I have found this new one:

It sells for around $5.50 - $6.8

Is it well know, have I missed a discussion or thread?

What are your thoughts on it?

Well, less pins for more $ ?

I will stick with ESP-07 or ESP-12 for now ...

I've been hard at work trying to figure this thing out - I will update this post soon.

So far, I think this thing is aimed for Arduinos (et al.) to connect WiFi (found some repos on GitHub for it).
