I have this kind of ESP8266-01 :

flash vendor:
C8h : GD
flash devID:
4014h
QUAD;8Mbit
crystal:
26 Mhz

I want to flash the new version to it using ESP FLASH DOWNLOAD TOOL V2.3.
Can someone please explain me which files should I need to flash and into what adresses ? I'm looking for a simple guide and I get confused.
In addition, I don't know what should I need to flash , wheather the RTOS SDK or the Non-OS SDK ??

- Mon Apr 18, 2016 10:01 am #45721 I'v tried to flash version 1.5.2 which supports Cloud Update (FOTA) , page 22/25 table 2 and it seems I succeeded.

The module had been flashed successfully but when I connect it via the FTDI to talk with it, it writes me an endless bulshit :



and I can't even send an "AT" command
