- Mon Apr 25, 2016 5:35 am #46137 i am using esp8266 with ftdi and uploading code via Arduino IDE. i have just tested the wifi scanner and its working fine, code available at

The problem is whenever i shut the esp8266 down and power it again it does not repeat the code again and i have to upload the code again.. Is there any way that the code should repeat automatically just like the arduino does. I am new to this forum as well to esp8266! Please help

- Mon Apr 25, 2016 10:28 am #46162 Watch how you wired GPIO0 and GPIO2: wiring is different when you upload a sketch (and reboot into it) than when you just boot from shut down.

- Mon Apr 25, 2016 11:49 pm #46212 i Got it.. Gpi0 should be grounded when uploading the code but after that it should not be grounded! Problem solved.. thank you
