I wish to use the RTC/NTP NodeMcu module for a date/time stamp however I am having difficulty finding a simple script for converting NTP epoch seconds to date/time.

I wonder if there is a built in solution that I am not aware of? The connect time for extracting the date/time from an Internet site is too long for what I am doing as I end up with a previous time stamp display.

I wonder if anyone here has any recommendations?
