Hi everyone!
I am building a portable display thingy and I am trying to understand if this screen can work with the NodeMCU v1.0 or any ESP8266 board.

connection is via SPI, the screen is 2.8inch tft display, I/O works with both 5v/3.3v but I bet it needs 5v for the backlight and other things. On the productor page it says that the display controller is HX8347D.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
If it doesn't work I will have to use a 3.3v Arduino nano as "screen driver" but it will eat up space and power :/
