ESP8266 Object placement puzzle adding HTTP GET REQUEST code
Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2018 6:53 pm
Good day all. I have created a Sketch using an ESP8266 with 3 RFID-RC522 cards to create a puzzle type project. When you get 3 RFID tags in the right order the ESP will trigger a GPIO pin to change state. I have been able to make this work with out a problem. Once I start adding the WiFi portion of the sketch things don't work well.
Here is the code with out WiFi.
And here is what I have tried to add to the code to make the WiFi Post Request when the puzzle is solved. I am trying to make the esp8266 send a post command of http://192.168.252.50/control?cmd=GPIO,12,1
Any help would be extremely appreciated
Here is the code with out WiFi.
Code: Select all
/**
* "Object Placement" Puzzle
*
* This puzzle requires the player to place one or more items in the
* correct location, at which point an RFID tag embedded in the object
* is detected by a sensor.
* When all sensors read the tag of the correct object, the puzzle is solved.
*
* Demonstrates:
* - SPI interface shared between several devices
* - RFID library
