Probe hidden SSIDs

Hello, I've wanted to ask a question. Is it possible to ask a hidden network if a SSID from my list belongs to it?

If you mean can you connect to a hidden SSID, yes as long as you know the SSID String of it....

No i meant if you see a hidden ssid you can send a packet with ssid to know if it belongs to it.

The reason why I want this is to make the WiFi Multi library work with hidden SSIDs...
