ESP8266 Community Forum

I wanted to compile the iSpindel project https://github.com/universam1/iSpindel and downloaded the sources. They presuppose the use of platformio, a tool that I'm not really familiar with. However, I was able to set it up such that it seemed to work OK. Unfortunately, the build doesn't succeed because of the error in the title of this post: package 'espressif8266_stage' is not found.

Can anyone help?
