Using PING.C from SDK v0.9.3

I want to use Ping.C (\esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.3\examples\IoT_Demo\lwip\app\ping.c) to monitor the status of Internet connection. How can I pass the IP address (eg 8.8.8.8) in the procedure ping_send_now ()?
