Hello, any idea how to transfer binary file to filesystem ??

The attached Python script works for me. Just give it the file to transfer as its first argument.

seems a bit chicken and egg, how do we get tftpd.lua onto the chip to start with?

For Windows there are several GUI tools available. Check out "LuaLoader" or "LUA Uploader".
