- Sun Jul 19, 2015 3:34 pm #23663 I had exactly the same problem, I could connect with Windows 8 machine, but not with Android devices. Its pretty hard to explain why this only affect Android devices, but in my case the problem was GPIO 2 being set as an output, while it was directly tied to GND o +V. I was using a bridge firmware (https://github.com/beckdac/ESP8266-transparent-bridge), and it olny starts working with android when I disable the GPIO functions.
