That's right, the server should know it's own IP address . I used FireFox web developer tools to see what the request is sent to the server by the browser. There the IP address seems to be included (see attachment). That's the reason I added it to the request url.

- Thu Jan 28, 2016 9:48 am #39879 client.connect() with domain name is working fine. If it doesn't work for you, it is probably because you didn't get any DNS address from your router. In such case, you can provide Google DNS 8.8.8.8 as a workaround.
