The ESP remembers old settings this might be your problem

I found that out one time when I was trying to run a sketch without wifi. Just a processor using the module IO. And I was getting the module connecting to my network and sending and spitting stuff out the serial port.

- Wed Aug 17, 2016 1:18 pm #53166 You are getting those undefined linking errors because you've included the "user_interface.h" file as C+ instead of plain C. This inclusion will make it works :
