I wanted to put our Christmas tree online. However, I didn't want to deal with high-voltages. 40 year old X-10 technology to the rescue!

Good job ! I've watched all your video about ESP and i think they're really useful for my project. Have you tried other type of ESP ? ESP-12 and ESP-07 are very interesting but i think ESP-07 is more powerful because it has built in antenna plug, what do you think about this ?

Giuliano, glad you find the videos interesting. I've only tried ESP-01 and ESP-03. I have not stress tested the ESP range. However, both modules appear to be fine for household use. I've been able to reach my access point located on ground floor from the basement.
If you want to see more modules, Pete Scargill probably has played with the most module variants. You might want to check out his blog.
