There is no reason why you should not get a unique MAC address, since it is assigned during the chip manufacturing, not by the board assembler.

- Thu Sep 18, 2014 5:40 am #720 there is actually as well API wifi_set_macaddr, so one can assign different MAC. A good idea couble be to store it in flash, with save_user_param and reload just before wifi re-init with load_user_param. User params location in flash is then 0x3c000.

If so, it should have two permanent MAC addresses assigned. Wonder if Espressif knows to do that?
