ps. also had to remove r4
thank you
4 years on from your post the link on http://www.stcmicro.com/rjxz.html to download stc-isp.exe did not work.
The download link was empty, no file.
If it helps others, I eventually found an alternative. Download the zip file from this link http://www.stcmcudata.com/STCISP/stc-is ... v6.88L.zip. It is not an English language site
The application program file STC_ISP_V480.exe is buried deep within the zip file sub-folders. The file was clean when it was virus scanned at the time but who knows what will be there in the future.
I did not understand* the compiling instructions so was grateful for the hex data that Pilol34 provided as that worked for me.
Before uploading the code to the STC15F104W MCU the LED was continuously flashing and afterwards it switched off.
I thought that was it but the relay would still not toggle from command sent by the ESP.
In my case I think I had a cloned board and on other sites indicate these have an issue with R3 and R4. I found physically removing R4 (like previous post) made it work along with setting the ESP baudrate to 9600. It would not work at 115200. Wonder if that was a value that Pilol34 compiled into the hex code. Thought it odd as MCU obviously works at a higher rate as the hex data flashed to the MCU @ 38400.
Only observation I make is when the relay is switched off, the output voltage drops imediatley to less tha 1V which for all intents and purposes is switching it off. However it takes more than 30 seconds to reach 0V. Maybe associated with the R4/R3 issue referenced earlier.
*Finally if there are more "idiot-friendly" instructions around regarding the compiling element could you post a link. Whilst I appreciated the complied hex file posted by Pilol34, I would like to know how to do it myself too.
I looked at the topic and I have a lctech module but with two relays... and I don't have the STC15F104W mcu but another gvm08h003f4p6 chip
therefore impossible to upload the .hex file
does anyone have a clue to help me?
the esp works very well for him but impossible to make him communicate with the module.
thank you in advance
