I also bought 3 nodemcu with this feature, it has wifi + doiting marked in the photo, and they also don't work

I bought WeMos D1 with soldered ESP266 with signature Doiting. After flashing with some software, the board occasionally connected to WiFi and restarted periodically. I found article "Defectives ESP8266/ESP12" by Román and remove a SMD capacitor. After desoldering this capacitor, the board started to work without any problems!
