It suggests looking at the build.log, I'd suggest the same. There may be something obvious there.
If not, please share that file so that we could take a look.

Hm... 32-bit host, ld was just killed by signal 9. Please check if you have enough memory and that it wasn't killed by an OOM killer (you should be able to see traces in the dmesg if it actually was an OOM killer).
